 "Down the Woods" is how my fellow Winfielders and I refer to the Rahway River Parkway surrounding most of our town.  It is an undeveloped natural area along the river that defines the boundaries of our community. Not only is it home to many animals and plants, it is a buffer for us against the noise and unsightliness of the "other" parkway.  To me, "down the woods" is a place to find beauty and peace, as well as a connection to my past.  Like many people from town, I grew up as a child of these great outdoors.  It is part of me, and I am part of it. I am so pleased to be able to share my love this area that is such an important part of "home."   I hope you enjoy the 2026 edition of my photography calendar. I love being able to say that each of the scenes was photographed within a short walk from all of our front doors.
