Peace/Conflict Art Show
On Saturday, September 14 the new exhibit open at Nails in the Wall Gallery in Metuchen, NJ. Its theme is Peace/Conflict, and many types of artworks are to be included. One of my photo-based digital collages is part of the collection. It's an image I created that expresses the attempt to find inner peace amid an overstimulating world...and about the importance of listening. The image itself was created by 3 separate photos: one of a person meditating on the beach, one of a snail shell spiral, and the last was a photo of an "altered paper" I made by dissolving the ink from a National Geographic magazine. I will be speaking at the opening reception about my work. Hope you can stop by! The exhibit runs till December 13, 2024.
