Last month, Google made the big announcement that their powerful photo editing software, The Nik Collection, is now FREE. This is a powerful and easy-to-use suite of plugins that make it easy to make selective edits, apply filters, convert to black and white, do HDR, reduce grain, and sharpen your pictures. I've been using these products for years, in conjunction with Photoshop and Aperture, with great results. On Tuesday, May 10, at the Somerset County Photography Club, I will be giving an overview of this software and sharing many tips and tricks I have learned. The talk is free, and visitors are welcome. If you are interested in learning some new photo editing techniques, please stop by. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
