Three award-winning New Jersey photographers, Danielle Austen, Jacki Dickert, and Lenny McDonald, showcase their impressions of the essence of water in its diverse forms. This exhibit offers a glimpse into the beauty, fluidity, and versatility of this essential element, showcasing its immense potential for artistic inspiration. Water also serves as a reflector and refractor of light, a shapeshifting canvas offering limitless opportunities for colorful patterns and designs. Each photographer offers a unique viewpoint, resulting in a collection that creates an artful experience inviting viewers to deepen their appreciation of nature’s beauty.  

About the Artists

Danielle Austen: Danielle perceives art as a universal presence waiting to be unveiled in various forms. Drawing from her background in photojournalism and the fine arts, she focuses her photography on capturing the intimate essence of our surroundings. She closely observes the dynamics within the elements of the landscape, particularly the interplay of movement in water and the interactions that shape the environment. Jacki Dickert: Fine art photographer Jacki Dickert is active in the NJ photography community as an exhibiting artist, teacher, speaker, and judge. Her images have been showcased at numerous galleries and have been published in calendars, on book and magazine covers, in textbooks, at the airport, and even on a billboard.
